My Recent Lipstick Picks

Lipsticks are without a doubt my favourite makeup item, I cant get enough of them. As we all know Matte Lip products currently are the hottest lips around. There are some lipsticks in this list I wish I tried sooner especially the nude ones, because finally I tried them and fall head over heels.

                                                     5 Nude Lipstick Picks

File_000 (8)Sugar Matte As Hell Crayon – Viola(Mauve Nude) Rs: 799

This Shade is just lovely, this is my recent most used lip crayon. Its mauve nude that’s going to compliment all skin tones. Its matte finish and lasts as long as 6-7 hours without touch up. This will also keep the moisture locked. If you are looking one nude lipstick then probably you are looking for this.

Lakme 9-5 Matte Lip Color – Brownie point Rs: 450/-

This is a very pretty shade, perfect for office and daily wear. I have seen so many people wear this and suit it so much, it really is gorgeous! Matte and moisturizing. This is the shade im going to stick on to forever.

Lakme 9-5 Weightless Matte Mousse Lip & Cheek Color – Blush Velvet Rs: 600

Another beautiful shade in my matte lip collection, this looks almost like Sugar matte viola but is less pigmented. This is the kind of shade I would love to wear with smokey or heavy eye makeup. Otherwise this may look a little pale. I was surprised to see this last almost 9 hours with absolutely no touch up. This is a very impressive product as it can also be used as blush, thou it dint look great on me as i prefer powder blush you might want to give this both ways.

Essence XXXL Longlasting Lipgloss – Soft Nude : Rs: 279

This Is the most beautiful nude lip gloss ever, I must admit in a very short span of time Essence XXXL soft nude has taken its permanent place in my makeup kit. I Literally cannot imagine stepping out with out this. It’s not complete matte since it’s a gloss, however its a great replacement to a transparent gloss. It has a strong chocolate smells which is so tempting that I promise you will end up eating this gloss 😉

Nykaa So Matte Lipstick – Irish Coffee Rs: 399

This is a pretty brown shade. It claims to be matte but it has a creamy texture definitely not matte. I have fair skin tone this shade dint look all that great on me. Probably those who love brown lip shades might consider this one.

                5 Pink Lipstick Picks

Colorbar Velvet Matte–Peach Crush Rs: 325

Beautiful dark pink made for all pink fans, highly pigmented and reasonably gorgeous shade.

Faces Ultime Pro Longwear Matte Lipsticks – Read My Lips Rs:749

The perfect matte magenta shade. I love the shade and the formula I recommend this to all the pink shade lovers.File_005 (1)

Maybelline New York Powder Matte – Technically Pink Rs: 500

This is beautiful baby pink shade that will suite fair to medium skin tone, however I feel the formula isn’t that great. It’s too powdery and doesn’t apply evenly on lips, it looks patchy and deposited at places. I was disappointed because I have been looking for this particular shade for ages but with this formulation I have to work a lot to make it look decent on my lips.

Faces Ultime Pre Matte Lip Crayon – Peach Me Rs: 799

This shade was the most talked about among faces new range of lip crayons, hence I bought it too. I wasn’t disappointed because the formula, texture and staying power is beyond imagination. But this is one of those shades that doesn’t look good on me thou its meant for fair to medium skin tone.

Maybelline Colorshow Creamy Matte – Pink Power Rs: 350

This shade looks beautiful in pictures, however it is muted pink it will only suit very fair skin tone. Or probably you can match this with a heavy eye makeup.

So those were my recent purchases, I love them all but If I have to choose one nude and one pink lipstick among these. I would declare Faces Read My Lips among pinks and Sugar Viola among Nudes that won my heart.
